About Us
We at NBA are looking to connect with the biggest, baddest, bestest basketball fans from India. If you've always wondered why cricket & maybe football are the only water-cooler talking points in sports, and why basketball (or let's just call it 'ball' as how we do) doesn't have its due importance, then this is for you! We are establishing an awesome program for genuine ballers and ball fans in India to come together, and banter away about NBA playoffs, stats, player comparisons, the local basketball tournaments, why they love the game, etcetera, etcetera - whatever we want! Who better to steer this community and popularize this magnificent sport & league in India than us!
Who is an NBA SuperFan?
Someone who is truly, madly, deeply passionate about NBA, the one who loves talking about basketball and NBA in their day-to-day life and on social media. Someone who through their love for the game makes others see the beauty of the game too, and are true ambassadors. We are looking for college-going NBA fans who love to hang with fellow ballers and watch NBA games. People who love to celebrate and cheer for their NBA teams and enjoy introducing their friends and peer to the league. Boom.
Criteria for our NBA SuperFan
A few qualities that we will like to see in our SuperFan
An active basketball player, who enjoys playing the sport, and/or follows NBA games passionately.
An active social media user, and enjoys creating posts about basketball / NBA on Insta or FB
Has excellent communication skills, and can talk the NBA lingo
A college student (preferred age group of 16-25 years) from Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune or Kolkata only. We will expand to other cities soon!

Meet-and-greet with NBA players / legends for the top SuperFans (subject to schedule & cities being visited)

Program Timelines
The application process is open now.
The submitted applications will then be shortlisted, followed by a telephonic and/or personal interview, that will lead to the final selection.
The "NBA India SuperFan Program" will be for 5 months, beginning from the midweek of November and it will carry on till the mid of April.
Each superfan will be required to be active for a few hours every week to carry out simple fun missions, that would include sharing NBA and basketball related content on personal social media channels, hosting home or in-campus screenings of NBA games with your friends, participating in cafe-screenings happening in your city, showcasing NBA merchandise that you win, etc. More details on this will be answered during your short-listing process. Inactivity or leave for exams will be considered, however, selected superfans are required to complete responsibilities assigned to them.
